Weekly Stuff E-Zine: Press Release (11-4-98) After tallying up the first batch of surveys which I received (it is never to late to send it in). I have come to the conclusion that the Anime/Video Game version is being received much better than the Sci-Fi/Comic Book version. With this knowledge and my own waining interests a net meeting was held between Kaneda and I. We reviewed the facts and I came to the conclusion that I will cease regular publication the Sci-Fi/Comic Book version of Weekly Stuff E-Zine. This does NOT mean I will never publish another Sci-Fi or Comic Book related issue. You can still expect to see a Sci-Fi or Comic Book edition, just not weekly. It will be a monthly or bi-monthly special with a title of 'Weekly Stuff E-Zine Presents... Digested Digest II'. However, the Anime/Video Game version will continue to be published on a weekly basis under the current title of 'Weekly Stuff E-Zine'. The reason for this change is I can't continue to put out quality issues on a weekly basis. As of late, I have been rushing at the last minute to find articles and going to any lengths to get them. This caught up with me when I had to stop reprinting the 'Wizard's Top Ten' with WSE#20. And I just don't wanna get sued for copyright infringement, which will happen if I continue to cut and paste from the same web pages on a weekly basis. Though cutting and pasting does happen in the anime version, it is more subtitle. Because the information has been posted in a forum or on a mailing list with not much luck of many outsiders seeing the info. I know many of you treasure the Sci-Fi/Comic Book version, and want to see it every week. But, I can't keep up the quality of the whole e-zine if I am always struggling to get articles for just one part of the e-zine. I do still have a life, and I have debated pulling the plug on the whole e-zine, numerous times as of late. So, please be grateful that I have decided to do things this way. I want to have fun reading through all the latest news in the world of entertainment, not drugging through it like it is a chore. Thank you to all who gave input, it wasn't ignored.
