OMEGA's RAMBLINGS Slow week. In both news and the fact that I wanted to savor my last days of summer, that is why this is out about a week later. Well, I am back in school, but hopefully that won't affect DD much. I still read my e-mail about 3 times a day. ^_^ Also a pretty big bombshell was dropped on me and it'll probably make a great short story someday. Just not right now. Sorry this issue is pretty small in the K quantity this week, but I really haven't gotten much in terms of big news this week. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 2.) The X-Files News & Rumors The Season Premiere has been delayed from November 1 to November 8, 1998. TAKE EVERYTHING BELOW WITH A GRAIN OF SALT!!!! *The opening episode is called “The Beginning” and begins three months after the events in the X- Files movie. *The CSM gives Mulder the X-File on Samantha he stole before he burnt down M & S's office. Yes, he admits to it. Mulder wants to kill him for it. *Mulder and Scully are running through secret facility and discover room which is identicle to that inside one of the two white domes - from the movie. Mulder and Scully run in, realise where they are, run back as the venting systems opens up but gas comes out, not bees. *In end, all is well again - Diana Fowly is gunned down and killed by the Grey-Haired Man (shot X and Kurt Crawford clones) and Spender gives XFiles back to Mulder and Scully” Note: None of this is right. I'd take anything off this page with a huge grain of salt. Very little is even remotely correct. ~Autumn ~Source: The X-Files ML Digest V5 #2245 ------------------------------------------------------------------ 4.)Starlight' Foundation's Celebrity Holiday Card Program STARLIGHT CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION JOINS WITH A-LIST CELEBRITIES FOR HOLIDAY CARD PROGRAM Los Angeles (July 6, 1998) -- Starlight Children's Foundation, celebrating fifteen years of brightening the lives of seriously ill children, has teamed up with eight celebrities for its 1998 Holiday Card Program. Oh My Goddess: The Keiichi Show The Newcomer: Yep, The romantic tension between Scully and Mulder is made almost comical when one knows that she publicly hates his guts. OK, I was holding back, but you've forced my hand, again. “We're sinking in the ratings guys.” “I told you we should have gone further with Sayoko.” “People just aren't interested in our story of an ordinary college student anymore.” “OK, then let's take a chance. What have we got to lose?” “Maybe some magical girl could drop in on him, like ‘I dream of Genie'?” “How about a goddess?” Six months later: “I wanna be on big brother's TV show!” “OK, OK, let's see, wasn't there another norn?” “Yeah, Skuld.” “You can be this be this Skuld, on one condition.” “Yeah, what?” “You can't ever call him big brother.” Three months later: “I was almost physically ill. Next time you have me kiss him, I quit.” “OK, OK, we'll keep the script light.” “But, what if he tries something?” “Hey, ‘Skuld'!” “Yeah?” “You want to keep your brother's show going?” “Yeah!” “Then anytime he gets too close to ‘Belldandy' here, we're going to send you in to break it up.” Naturally after the show was canceled, Keiichi's life as a fantasy left with the proper preparation for only one career path... Roll the credits for the “Ronald Reagan Show”. ~Source: Henry J. And where the original story had only a single pair of them hidden in it -- in the "ContinueD after next page" box -- I allowed only the ones in which I announced it was time for more "Great DC trivia". ~ Source of Questions and Answers are modified from the original from which appeared in: BobRo's Trivia Corner a part of DC Comics Online E-Mail Newsletter. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks for reading and see you next time. ~Back Issues can be found at http://members.rotfl.com/OMEGA/ ~To unsubscribe send an unsub e-mail to ablarnold@msn.com That's it.
