DC Universe: Event Terminology


All terminology found herein was defined and in some cases created by Adam "OMEGA" Arnold
and strives to pin-point key events in the broad DC Universe Time-Line.

  • Pre-Crisis - All the events occuring before and leading up to Crisis on Infinite Earths (1935 to 1985)
  • Crisis - All the events occuring during and linked to Crisis on Infinite Earths (Crisis #1-12)
  • Post-Crisis - All the events and re-boots occuring after Crisis up to Superman's Resurrection (1986 to Summer 1993)
  • Pre-Zero Hour - All the events occuring during a period of temporal upheval (Summer 1993 to Fall 1994)
  • Zero Hour - All the events occuring during and linked to Zero Hour: Crisis in Time (Zero Hour #4-0)
  • Post-Zero Hour - All the events and reboots occuring drictly after Zero Hour up until DC One Million (Zero Month to September 1998)
  • Pre-Hypertime - All the events occuring from the beginning of DC One Million until the Hypertime barrier is broken in Kingdom (September 1998 to December 1998)
  • Post-Hypertime - All the events occuring directly after the Hypertime barrier is broken to the present.
