The Unofficial DC ONE MILLION Biography

The return of Superman from his self-imposed exile in the heart of the sun, and the ultimate destiny of the DC Universe's greatest heroes is reveald as the greatest celebration in the universe is about to occur with the help of the Justice League A (first glimpsed in JLA #10-15 "Rock of Ages" storyline), the greatest super-heroes of the year 85,271 -- 1,000,000 months after the release of 1938's Action Comics #1. The JLA of the future plans to welcome back the long-absent Last Son of Krypton with an incredible celebration, and they travel to 1998-courtesy of Hourman, the Master of Time-to invite Superman's oldest allies to join the festivities. But in so doing, the heroes of tomorrow may be dooming the world of today!

In the future revealed in DC ONE MILLION, the core members of the JLA are asked to participate in Olympic-style events on different, inhabited world's in Earth's solar system. From Wonder Woman's idyllic Venus to Batman's prison planet of Pluto, the competition proves more dangerous than originally planned when the malicious tyrant sun Solaris, aided by the immortal Vandal Savage, sabotages the celebration.

The 853rd-century Savage wishes to finally have his revenge against the heroes who bested him throughout his lifetime, while his 20th-century self views the departure of the time-traveling JLA as an opportunity to conquer the world. But Solaris has a more elaborate scheme than either of the Savages: infecting the Justice Legion A with a deadly virus that they will spread throughout 20th-century Earth, driving the heroes-and all mankind-completely mad. And the key to his plan is a traitor within the Justice Legion A itself!
