The Unofficial CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS Biography
A cataclysmic explosion corrupted the moment following all Creation-a cosmic current that sparked the transformation of the one true universe into the "multiverse," a countless number of parallel universes separated by vibrational barriers! In that selfsame second, the universe also birthed Qward, a dark, evil dimension of anti-matter. Both the realms of positive-matter and anti-matter had their own champions-the all-powerful beings known as the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor. Now, after nine billion years of dormancy, the Anti-Monitor has unleashed Qward's anti-matter energy and has started the systematic destruction of the multiverse--and humanity places its sole hope in the hands of a special battalion of heroes from Earths One, Two, Four, X, and S, brought together by the Monitor in his satellite headquarters!
Aided by the Monitors beautiful assistant, Harbinger, the combined heroes of the multiverse fight a titanic, tumultuous battle to save their worlds from the Anti-Monitor's chaotic energies! As their war rages on, heroes live and heroes die, with valorous champions of legend such as Supergirl and Barry Allen, the Flash, surrendering their lives so that their enemy's sundry schemes might fail. Once he reasons that his ultimate victory belongs at the moment of Creation, however the Anti-Monitor creates a temporal vortex which takes him back through the centuries. In hopes of forestalling his foes, he pits them against the most powerful legion of super-villains ever assembled, but the heroes of the multiverse cannot be stopped. Together, they follow the Anti-Monitor back to the beginning of time!
At the dawn of all time and space, the valiant heroes of the multiverse watch in horror as the Anti-Monitor clashes with the Astral Avenger called the Spectre--and the universe explodes around them! In the next moment, the fabric of time is rewoven and reality seems to have returned to normal-until the heroes realize to their astonishment that where once there had been an infinite number of parallel universes, now there is only one Earth, a world that combines elements and histories of each hero's homeworld! It is on this New Earth that the heroes make their final stand against the Anti-Monitor, his threat forever ended at the hands of the greatest heroic alliance ever witnessed by mortal man! Though he dies, however, his handiwork cannot be undone-and a ripple in the timestream mercifully erases from each hero's memory any awareness that there had ever been any Earths other than this one! But Psycho Pirate remembers the Crisis……
